GUD knows that bad decisions make good stories. Tell us about that last Big Mistake, where it left the poor bastard who pulled the trigger, hid the ace, ignored that 3 a.m. phone call. Funny how territories shift, landmarks vanish, people look right through you—on the other side.
The Issue 8 Instigator wants a ride-along in your sidecar as you get the breath knocked out of you, finding out the implications of archetype are no field guide to survival. What's the other side of a Möbius strip look like? Where'd you start from? Does it taste different, where you are now? Are you sure it's not a parallel 'verse?
Test limits. Break things. Play ball in the house. GUD gives you permission not to listen to your mother.

While I found the cover off-putting for a handful of reasons, once inside I was caught in the flow of the narrative. Roberts realizes her players well, showing multiple sides to mythic characters, and the details she puts into this historical re-imagining of "The Epic of Gilgamesh" really bring the story to life.
