Roll up to win one of two Grand Prizes in GUD's Grand Pumpkin Carving Contest 2009!
For carvings of REAL pumpkins, get up to two chances to win a paperback copy of Angela Carter's short story collection The Bloody Chamber, which includes the two stories that were made into the film Company of Wolves, and a hardcopy of the GUD Magazine issue of your choice.
For carvings of VIRTUAL pumpkins, get up to two chances to win a .pdf of Wolfsongs Vol.1, a modern anthology of wolf tales, and a .pdf of the GUD Magazine issue of your choice.
To enter: First, sign up for a free Flickr account (if you're a Yahoo user, just sign-in with your Yahoo ID).
Join GUD's Pumpkin-Carving Group--it's open to all.
Then, carve your Halloween pumpkin with the GUD logo!
Turnips won't do :).
For REAL pumpkins, upload your best photos (limit of 2 per person).
For VIRTUAL pumpkins, upload screenshots (limit of 2 per person). (You can create free virtual pumpkins online--here's one place. )
You may enter one or both categories, but only one prize will be awarded per person--in other words, nobody can win both prizes. Contest opens 10th October 2009 and closes 2nd November 2009. Maximum two entries per person. All entries will be judged by GUD editor Debbie Moorhouse and the prizes awarded by some arcane system that must never be questioned by mere mortals. Good luck!

What you need to do is take a screenshot of the virtual pumpkin.
You can do this by pressing the PrtScr button on your keyboard. Then crop and save as a .jpg using your photo-processing software. Then you can upload :).
I'll try again after work tonight and if I still have no luck you may be getting an email from me after all!
Just open the photo-processing software and select Edit--Paste. The screenshot should magically appear!
Oh, and hey Kaolin, did you happen to get my email? No rush on response, just wanting to make sure I sent it to the right place. Thanks!
